GFIC keeps tripping off

Howdy. We keep our Escape 19 plugged into 15 amp shore power to run a tiny dehumidifier during the wet season. The camper is under cover and never gets wet. I’ve noticed the exterior GFIC receptacle has been tripping out and takes a number of resets to get working again so the interior receptacle near the entry can power the dehumidifier. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like moisture is tripping the exterior outlet. You may want to replace the GFCI outlet and check to insure it stays dry. These GFCI are made for that purpose, to warn of possible shock hazards and water and electricity do not mix.

GFCI outlets fail much more often then regular outlets. I would replace it.

Outlets before the GFCI are not be protected by it. Under the passenger side bench, by the fridge, and probably the one on the bed side of the kitchen stove wall. Plug your dehumidifier into one of them.
