Nearing 12 years old, Jasper is still in excellent health and physical condition. Just loves playing with younger dogs as most his age will not play fight with him. I imagine he will be around for a few years yet. After that, and for the first time in my adult life, we will likely go a while without a pet, even though it will feel weird we can get a lot of the type of travelling in that can't accommodate a dog, or at least makes it tough. After that, bring on another one. I love dogs.

But boxers never really grow up! I like that aspect of them.

While all the dogs I have had are inside quite a bit, they also loved to be outside much of the time, where they can get cooler fresh air and maybe visit with folks and their dogs out for a walk. If they wish to be outside, I am happy to accommodate them. If we leave the house, they are usually brought in.

We called 911, three big firetrucks and 10 EMT guys showed up, but by then I managed to stop the bleeding.
Ouch, Myron. Take care and heal well, okay.

For your quarantine entertainment: The podcast "Sporkful" May 3 episode focuses on the feud between "taylor ham" and "pork roll" as the name for the delicacy. (about 28 minutes) https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR...EegQICxAG&ep=6

Very interesting, here we call it pork roll, Taylor ham I have always associated with Canadian bacon, round ham slices vs pork slices. BTW Taylor Pork Roll comes in thin and thick slices, perhaps the thicker slices get confused? I have always purchased the thin pork roll, similar to fried bologna...either way there is still only one Rapa Scrapple.....

Running out of things to do in isolation here. The trailer sits, waiting, and I had to think of something.

For our trips we always keep our bulky non-perishables, dog food, extra water, etc., in a box on the floor under the dinette. Usually a cardboard box. I even glued reinforcement wood on it, and painted the thing.

Looking for something less ugly this week, I found this in WalMart, marked down to four bucks. Really like the rope handles.

I was getting a bit tired building a stone retaining wall, and then when a good friend stopped by we took the time to go for a walk. Not bored at all. [emoji16]Click image for larger version
