We don't have a bike rack so I'm afraid I can't help with that.

I can tell you that I had to get different U bolts and drill a new hole in the brackets to fit the bumper. If I remember correctly it's made to fit a 4" square bumper.

If you used wire rope instead of clothesline this could possibly be wired up as a really big antenna.

For our bath towels we use suction-cup-hooks on the bathroom wall that come as part of the "Combination Staytion" that ETI sells.

For socks and underwear, we have one of these carousel drying thingies that we can hang from the handle for the bathroom vent. It helps to use it on a day away from the trailer, because it IS in the way of the toilet. It also can be strung with Xmas lights and used as a chandelier in a screen room.

We use a several of these over the upper cabinet doors: http://a.co/d/0skollX

Ours came from a $1 store for $1 each. They are somewhat flimsy, but they work fine. We don't leave stuff on them when in motion. There are higher quality similar products if you want to pay the price.

We also use a couple of suction cup hooks outside the door to hang towels.

Sometimes we lay a wet towel over the spare tire if it isn't windy.

Well that jogged a memory. I had a cats whisker radio when I was a kid. I ran the antenna wire outside and hooked it to the gutter and downspout system on our old house. I could get stations from all over the USA at night. Could listen to Boston play the Yankees at Fenway. Those were the days. Didn’t even need batteries.

Another option

If we are staying more than one day we hang clothes and towels outside over the awning arms (if you have them). If we are traveling we bought the same rod as pstyer but we hang it on the cabinet handles over the dinette. This works for 19s or 21s. You can still access the cabinets because the rod is telescopic and it fits nicely in the end cabinet for storage. If you you have the max fan exhausting or a heater going at night everything dries by morning. If it’s a sunny day and you are traveling everything will be dry by the time you make camp again. Had to buy a new rod this year as ours mysteriously disappeared. Couldn’t find one at the Walmart but our local farm store had one. We also use microfiber towels and try to pack clothes that dry quickly. Although we have an Escape 21, we find the bathroom too small to expect thing to dry even overnight.

Rita

I have three tension rods that can span the width of the 17A. They fit on the little “ledge” that runs around under the upper cabinets, or over the upper cabinet doors if you don;t need to open the doors. Store in the front pocket channel. Also good, as others have said, with a room darkening curtain panel for privacy at one end or ther other.

If it's too damp outside hang it in front of the furnace and run the furnace. Keep the roof vent open. That will give it a good start.

Yup, in my 21 I corral wet dogs under the table in front of the furnace. Works pretty well (with fan on warp speed.)

We use a combo of things to dry wet rain gear, towels, ect, when it’s too wet and cold outside.

Microfibre towels work great. Canadian tire has many med sized ones in automotive, which dry an entire body and don’t cost as much as REI or MEC hiking towels.

Mary mentioned the suction hooks available at escape. These are excellent as they have good grip to hang things on.

Finally, when we have wet towels or rain gear, we use this low wattage heater in the bathroom. It’s a very quiet appliance and gives a slight and gentle heat. Everything dries, we barely hear it running, and the wet things are in the bathroom, out of sight while drying.

Honeywell 200/250 Watt Personal Heater | Canadian Tire

We also, when it’s cold, leave it on in the bathroom overnight. Although we prefer to sleep in a cold room, it’s really nice to open the bathroom door in the middle of the night and have that small space warmed to about 15 degrees, when it’s only 5 in the trailer.
