Hehr frameless window - piece of opening mechanism track needed

Help
Does anyone have a piece of the glass mounted track/channel in their parts bin?
I require a 7 1/4" piece, but could trim a longer one.

I have had several conversations with Lippert.
They aknowledge they build the windows and their factory would have the track, but refuse to sell it or provide me the technical description to source it.
I'm being told I must purchase an entire window !
I am shocked by the utterly horrible customer care and service.

Attached are pics of the piece I'm seeking.
If anyone can help, I'd be extremely thankful and would happily reimburse you for a piece. I'm in Canada, but also have an American shipping address.

Cheers

If no help from a forum member you might try some of the hits here: "rv salvage parts" Google search results

Wishing you the best of luck (and a curse on Lippert ).

Thank you for the suggestion.
I believe this was a common issue. Did everyone else just buy new windows ? !!

FYI - if contacting Lippert regarding parts and warranty the person you converse with will appopriately be titled "senior sales representative" and not parts or customer service representative/manager.

I was blown off by Lippert on a window warranty issue. I left a poor review at the BBB and got a response and resolution.

I have had a long stream of fruitless communications with Lippert, more positive with Duncan who now handle hehr windows. Anyway I have a new single pane window sent in error that they don't want back and on the bottom is 18 inches of the channel you require, BUT I cannot get a scalpel to slice through the adhesive. If anyone has a suggestion on a solvent for the black adhesive, or any other way to get the channel off, I will remove it cut you a piece and send it. I am in Grand Forks BC.

My only suggestion is to get a hold of a different window manufacturer. Maybe they have the part you need.

Possibly might find what you need searching for extruded metal/ aluminum. That how I found peace’s I need for a project I was doing. Saw several examples that might work for you

Mike, got your message but can't seem to reply to you via message, have always had that problem. The window is yours, I don't need it. I am 140km from Nelson but leave in a week. Call me on 306 590 0163.

maybe worth a try to use hairdryer to loosen adhesive.

Probably not enough heat. There may not be enough heat to loosen the part. Remember windows are subjected to HIGH temperatures. If heat was all it took, that piece would slide off at the worst possible time.... like going down the road during a hot summer day. But what MIGHT get it off is COLD, like dry ice applied to the back side. That will remove a rear view mirror that's 'glued' to a windshield.
