help modifying the dicor slide to the springfield

Ok- I have the springfield ped and i just received the dicor slide. Without reinventing the wheel, can someone please show a picture of the mounting of the dicor slide to the springfield pedestal?

how to mod springfield ped to dicor slide?

We got our springfield pedestal today and our dicor slide a few weeks back.

We are wondering what size do we need to cut that top plate to fit the dicor slide. I know some of you have done it before. Any help on how to connect these two properly would be wonderful! Any youtubes would be even better

Just cut the Springfield top plate to fit the Dicor slide, taking even amounts off each side. I have not done it yet, though have had the components for a year now. A band saw, table saw, or skill saw will do the trick. If you have none of these tools, or are at all daunted by the task, Just take it to a metal shop and they could do it in a hearbeat.
