Hot water tank issues

Ran low on propane and HWT now occasionally goes out and sparked relighted. It does this several times and then seems to operate normally. It is a bit windy. Any ideas

Possibly air in the line? When I refill propane I usually run the cooktop for a few minutes I hopes of purging any air.

Guess two would be the wind is the problem.

Whenever I change a tank, I too start up the cooktop and also cycle the furnace. I usually do this to make sure the refrigerator has a steady supply of “pure” propane. Don’t know if it matters or not, it’s good logic to me. I usually check things out while the camper is in our building so wind isn’t a variable that can “get” me.

the furnace will use propane far faster than the cooktop.

I had dust in the injector. Took it off and blew it out, easy fix for our issue.

Great idea. Like you said, it can't hurt. Looking forward to another great season of camping.
