We had Escape replace our kitchen slider with a little awning window and that is what we keep open at night. And the bath window.

Almost, there is 7" of hanger space, next to the baskets.

I bet we pack in near as many clothes on hangers as you could folded on shelves in the same space. I put a few shirts on each hanger.
Interesting experiment to what system would hold more.

With 7" of hanger space It's limited, I can hang 2 light coats and two hangers with 3 shirts each, tight but works.
I hang rain gear behind the toilet and with a wood slat floor the dripping water is not a problem.

I like the baskets on sliders or shelfs because access seems to be improved and I can keep it neater as I dig through them. 7" deep allows you to stack a lot of clothes on top of each other. I think more baskets that were shallower might be better.

Actually, I was referring to Escape's drawers which I am pretty sure are narrower than the closet but those widths look about the same in the photo.

How do you hang rain gear behind the toilet?

Though rain gear is something that I would be willing to fold or roll to stow.

We too hang wet rain gear in the bath, but only until it dries and then it gets put away until needed again, otherwise it kinda crowds that small space and is a bit messy.

I would agree that more shallower drawers is better for access. This is true for many things where digging through deeper drawers is a hassle and messy.

When we were in Europe for three weeks this year traveling with large, rolling duffle bags, we used these: https://www.amazon.com/Space-Compres.../dp/B0000TQGVI.

I was surprised how much they eased packing and more importantly, re-packing by segregaing various items. I kept socks and underwear in one pack, t-shirts in another, and shorts/ jeans in another. Easy to just grab the one you need and move all the others to get to the one you need without making a mess.

We have attached 3M Command Books on various places on the exterior of our trailer. A couple of them hold the exterior shower hose and under the awning we have several to hold wet items and rain gear when we are at our site. Whoops, sometimes they break when we are washing the trailer, but no biggee.

I have used suction cup hook the same way for years, with the advantage that they are relatively easy to remove. I have used lots of different brands, but the IKEA Stugvik ones seem to be the best. You could even leave them in place if you wanted, but we prefer to place them as needed.

I started out with Command Hooks to determine where I wanted to hang stuff. After a couple of months, I picked the best locations & replaced them with Umbra hooks.

I got these hooks to experiment also as to good locations for hanging things, but they hold so well I have not replaced them. The plastic tub attached by suction makes me a little nervous that I'll find it on the floor someday, but a year later It's still "hanging in there". They are cam-lock style to attach,I think there are something like glaziers use to carry glass

We have hooks like that. One of them holds and one continually falls on the floor. Next to each other on same kind of surface. Go figure!

We used just a carry-on bag. When we came back once, Customs wanted to know where the rest of our bags were. The way we did it was to use quick-dry clothing, the same kind that many might use for camping. All kinds of clothing comes in very light quick-dry versions and can be layered if colder. We never needed more and thought we could have left a thing or two. Whatever we washed out would be dry in the morning. Of course, with the trailer we can take much more and go to laundromats but some of those items are good to have.
