How to connect my Camp Chef to the trailers quick connect

I have a Camp Chef Everest stove that I usually connect directly with the hose adapter to a propane tank. I got my new Escape 19 with the quick connect fitting and hose. How do I connect the hose the Escape sold me to my stove.

Thanks!

Unfortunately if you do a forum search there are many threads indicating the Camp Chef Everest is not easy to convert to low pressure. Hopefully someone will weigh in and show how they may have done it.

Remove the regular then install a male connector. On my Ranger II it is a 3/8 flare connector on the stove. I first used a 3/8 flare 90, then attached the fitting to that. This 90 allowed the house to aim straight back instead of straight to the side. To connect I just connect the female fitting in the end of the hose to the male on the stove and fire it up.

And here I thought all Camp Chef could be connected like mine. To bad they are not.

Jim, honestly I am having trouble following your description. I guess let me ask this... the part that screws into the stove... what is it called or where could I find it. Sorry for my ignorance...

You can't follow it because it works for Jim's Ranger, but not for your Everest.

Thanks for clarifying. This was an earlier thread I found where you ruled out the Everest for low pressure which lead to my comment about it being problematic.

That's the problem with getting busy with other things in life and not keeping current here, I forget what I already knew on things. [emoji849][emoji16]
