Humming surge protector

Has anyone had any humming coming from their surge protector? It seems like it is getting louder.

Several reports of this happening on other forums if you do a google search. Sometimes the position of the contacts are out of alignment. Some have said they unplug and replug in several times and it resolved the issue. Try calling Progressive Industries and they should assist:

As you are plugging into the shore power, flick the on/off switch up and down three or four times. This should get rid of the hummmmmmmmm.

After doing some reading, they say that it should be mounted on rubber groomers. Not sure if it is. I will try the unplug and replug thing too. Thanks
