All the interior heights and dimensions are listed on the Escape site, under the individual trailer specs. Escape Trailer Industries > Home

Thanks Jim, I did see that on the spec sheet but was wondering about the bathroom and the area by the AC unit are they full height as well? It is not something I pay attention to being as I fit into the smurf crew at 5'8" :}

The bathrooms are all shorter. I don't have A/C, but I think the various ones do protrude differently. Others will know.

My husband is 6'2" and even under the A/C he has a little bit of headroom. Here he is standing up under the a/c with his hiking boots on and you can still see daylight between his head and the a/c.

I would estimate that the a/c protrudes about 2 - 2.5 inches below the ceiling level in the 19'. I know that I am about 6'-2.5" tall and can stand up in our 19' without touching my head on the ceiling, but will bump my noggin on the a/c. You do get used to it being there after a while and the bumps don't seem to hurt as much as they first did.

The bathroom heights are in the specifications too. The 19, 21, and 5.0 are 72" high and the 17 and 15 are 67" high. I am 6' 2" and the 19 has enough head room even with the AC. I might be shrinking a little bit over time too.

I am 6 ft 7" and this reminds me that's another reason why I passed up getting an air conditioner. Stoop we must, but them be the breaks. I don't spend any time at all pacing around about it.

If you want the trailer you want the trailer.

Anybody know how tall the 21 is with A/C and the Jack Antenna installed. I am thinking about a shed that is tall enough (12'), but entry door is 10 feet. Is that enough clearance?

Steve and Julie, We have a 21 and I'm getting ready to order an RV metal cover to put it under. I'm ordering 10' legs even though 9' legs would be plenty (steel covers, or carports angle up to the middle). I can get you a better measurement, with A/C maybe tomorrow, but Escape themselves would probably be more accurate. The A/C on our 21 is the highest point on the trailer, even higher then our Jack antenna.

Tom, thanks for the info. I am going to order a metal building with 11' sides with a 12' center height. It will be completely enclosed, so I needed 11' sides to accommodate the 10' garage door. The vendor is Carolina Carports, inc. the whole thing including delivery, assembly, sales tax etc. is about $3,700. I didn't think that was too bad considering the building is 12x25.

Steve and Julie, That does sound like a good price. We're contemplating ordering a carport that is 18' x 26' with 10' legs and open sides and ends. We'll have extra supports, sheet-metal, and anchor,s with the price of around $2,000, installed not counting tax. One side will come to within 4' of the ground and the other will be at 7'. Enclosing these can more then double the price not counting the doors and windows. Post pictures when you're done.

I will. Should be ready by February. We will travel to Chilliwack to pick up in May. Then on to the Escape Rally.

Take the advertised interior height of 6' 5" with a grain of salt; I'm 6' 4" and can't stand up straight anywhere in our 21'. Their advertised height might be before adding the thick liner - it's really more like 6' 3".
