Situation: I-15 in sight of the town ahead. 108°F outside temp.
Trailer tire blows. Replaced the tire in 5 minutes, with the spare, while the
family sat in air conditioned comfort in our tow vehicle.
When I went to town to get a new tire mounted on the spare,

the shop owner happened to mention how many tires he changes and
how busy the towing service is on days like these.


I always have a viable spare!!!

Yes, heat deteriorates tires quicker than cold does......
