It happened again, Outside shower leak

Hi all,
Hi. I have an Escape 19/2017. We have an outdoor shower hookup. A year ago in the spring the hot water side of the faucet pushed out after winter and leaked. I assumed I had not drained it well enough. I replaced the "guts" with an assembly provided by another Escape owner. We recently took a trip and it happened again. Again the hot water side and it pushed out the fitting so that the retaining ring and clip fell off and the fitting leaked. I was able to screw it back in and keep it from leaking. We have had cold overnights but not really hard freezes. Any idea what could be causing the hot water side to burst out of the threaded fitting?
thanks
JeffO

Jeff: I believe I provided you a spare valve cartridge. This sounds strange what you are experiencing. Just so I'm clear...the valve cartridge with black gasket (shown in pic) is being forced completely out of the threading??

Yes, when I noticed it dripping from the box I opened the door to see that the retaining ring and nylon nut were just kind of hanging there.
Escape trailer was incredibly fast getting back to me. They suggested that I either had a freeze event of that I didn't properly use the pressure reduction fitting when hooking up to provided water

BTW, yes you were the member that provided the new fitting. I have been trying to remember who that was.
I thank you again for your generosity
