Jack for 5.0TA?
What kind of jack do you recommend for a 5.0TA?
Thanks,
David

You mean to change a tire? For years, I carried a 3 ton aluminum racing jack (for my Scamp, etc.)... but for Ten Forward I bought one of these and am leaving the racing jack at home. Trailer Aid Tandem Tire Changing Ramp. It rides in the rear dinette bench and I hope it was money I spent and NEVER have to use.

Donna,
Have you used it? Just to see if it lifts enough.

Thanks Donna. That looks exactly like what I need. We hauled a 3,500 lb. jack in our Scamp 19 and wanted something lighter. Looks like it would be much easier to use. I too hope to never use it.

In addition you may also want some road service, Good Sam offers 2 tow trucks, one for your trailer and one for your tug service.

I tried the Anderson levelers, it doesn't raise the tire enough for it's twin to come off the ground. Picked up a taller bottle jack. And I have Good Sam.
I did borrow my neighbors lift that is like Donna's, it worked just fine but is bigger then I care to take along. Donna's does not look quite as big as the one I borrowed.

I have one, and have used it on my 19, and it works great.
I don't bring mine along when camping though, and hope I don't need it.
(If I ever did, I can easily make a ramp with my Lynx levellers, or just use a jack)

Thanks for responses
I think it will fit under rear dinette bench, which has nothing but Escape installations anyway. Should be able to secure it so that nothing else gets beaten up by it.
We have Good Sam, but would rather not have to wait for their response in some instances, if it's to change a tire.
My first choice is to need neither.
Thanks all!!
David
