ok, thats a very different fixture than I have. my bathroom light is half of one of the main ones, and those have a 2-way switch in the middle with two lenses, one on each side.
my main dome lights look something like this, but have a 3-way switch (low, off, high)

Ok, I just tried again. Used one small screwdriver as a lever and the handle of another small screwdriver as a fulcrum. Stuck the lever into the small slot and pried and pop, off it came. And no damage to the cover other than a small nick in the slot. Thanks for all the help everybody. I'm in business again.

The saga continues. Contacted ETI and they said lights only have a one year warranty. They would be happy to sell me a new one for $16 plus $34 shipping. I asked for the make and model of the fixture and Dave Warren sent me this photo.
Second photo is of the led in the fixture. Tried googling both the fixture and the led and came up empty. I would prefer to just replace the fixture but would be willing to solder in a new led. Maybe my google skills are lacking. Any electronic experts who could guide me to a source for either item? Thanks in advance.

That is a different style than the ones in our 2017 trailer. Ours are strips with the LED's in line not a circle. Our trailer was made in March.
The first picture is oval so that would be our type not your round one.
Edit bathroom light in ours is also an oval model with the LEDs in a line.

I'd fish out the wires in the ceiling and order one of these, all weather lights $8

oops on edit has a bulb, so you will need to replace the bulb with a LED if you desire.

I'd prefer fixtures with easy to replace bulbs, I do not recall any flicker issues with LED bulbs, only the recent led strips.

It's The Cheese
Reminds me of trying to get the name of the Distributor of a great Holland made Goat-Gouda with Coriander that Everybody's Store in Van Zandt, WA sells. Called after returning home and asked where they obtained it. Was transferred to the owner who asked "who is this?" Customer I replied back home. Says he "Let me tell you something- our Distributors are our business". Then he hung up.

hahaha, I can understand that...it's called "vendor relations." I'm not about to tell you where I get my product. I've worked hard and spent hours finding the "perfect vendor' that works with me. Google is YOUR friend

Yeah, so my point which seemed obvious is ETI owns their Vendors(and product) choices too and should perhaps choose more wisely- in this consumer-oriented world there is usually a Good-Better-Best choice.
As competition increases wise companies realize that price is not the most important consideration in a consumer's decision to buy, rather value is.

When it comes to a travel trailer build, of any build type, do you think the world is your oyster? How many RV refrigerator or furnace or window vendors are manufacturing for the product type? ETI, just like all trailer manufacturers, are limited to THOSE that are building.. and importing for use, especially at a reasonable cost. You can buy anything you wish the entire world over (within govt. limitations). But to blame a particular manufacturer who can't give you want YOU want is laughable. Google is YOUR friend.

I’ve replaced one LED light in my 2018 trailer and have another one on the road to failure
At this point I have decided to just buy new fixtures off the Internet and forget about using my warranty.
It will be easier , cheaper and less frustrating then replacing a defective fixture with the same failed style under warranty. Sometimes you just have to accept defeat and cut your losses .

No wonder ETI needed help with a "Strategic Partner". This LED topic could be the tip of the proverbial iceberg.

Thermal Grease is a must...
Not everyone will read my modifications so I will repeat my findings here.
When I disassembled the factory light I found that the thermal grease was not evenly and completely spread over the entire LED backing plate. This could lead to overheating and premature failure of the light. Thermal grease is used to fill the pours in the metals and allow the heat to transfer to the heat sink. The heat sink is the oval metal backer, which will get hot by drawing the heat away from the LED.
You may want to check your lights to make sure they have the surface completely covered. Use something to spread the thermal grease as you don’t want it filling the pours on your finger. Thermal grease comes in different containers and I have included a link to one.

In the picture from ETI of the replacement light you can see the thermal grease spilling out. If you don’t see that on your led lights it is a good chance the will fail. This is a cheap fix to add the grease. A thin a complete coat...its not icing...thicker is not better.
