Max Fan lift Arms

I foolishly left the max fan open last winter, and we had a few pretty good dumps. Snow is heavy and the original lift arms are cast iron - which can and did snap.
After a bit of hunting I found replacement lift arms on etrailer. Least fun job ever.... I needed gooseneck pliers to positon screws, very limited space to turn the screw driver, the knobs that sit in the " movement slots" had to be ground down a bit to fit........ but the new ones are not cast iron.

Highly recommend never leaving the max fan open when it snows ........-
