Probably a bad circuit board. There have been reports of condensation and over-voltage killing the boards. Conformal coating can help with the condensation and a voltage regulator can help with the latter. Both unfortunate measures that an owner would need to be bothered with. We haven't had a problem yet with the two MaxxFan's we've owned and haven't done any preventative measures. We also don't have solar which may be part of the issue if the equalization voltage is too high. This thread might help:

Hopefully you are under warranty. Is yours a power or manual lift? Seems the power lifts are more prone to over voltage; pretty sure I accidentally fried my PC board when washing trailer while vent was open.

Spoke with Perry Knitig at Airxcell(owner of Maxxfan). Very knowledgeable and patient. His contact info:

574-247-9235

He will want the serial number and you will have to take the screen out then remove four screws plus the one holding the knob if a manual lift to see the serial number.
