Monitor Panel Lights not Working?

I just received delivery of the a 21ne a few weeks ago and have yet to take it on a trip. Its currently in storage and I'm very new to all of this. I noticed when I press the buttons on the display nothing was lighting up one way or another? I'm assuming the battery came charged. Is there any reason why they wouldnt be lighting up?

Thanks in advance for responding to my silly question!

Do any of the other lights work inside?

The battery disconnect switch may be off. If it is, no lights on monitor - and no where else either!

The battery disconnect is normally turned off for shipping. Look on your kitchen counter for an instruction sheet from Escape, it should mention this. I think they are mounting it these days under one of the dinette seats, if you lift the lids it should be obvious - a plastic red and yellow rotary switch clearly marked.
