New battery disconnect switch

Does anyone happen to have a photo handy of the new battery disconnect switch that's mounted under the dinette bench? Trying to help out a new owner on the Facebook group who unplugged from shore power (probably their first day with the trailer) and has no 12 volt anything. Sounds like the battery disconnect switch is off - they did not get an orientation and I'm guessing the switch was off when they got the trailer, plugged into the campground the first night and thought everything was fine, then unplugged to hitch up and found no 12 volt power in the trailer.

Have told them to look under the bench for the switch, but it would be helpful to have a photo of this on hand to show people what it looks like. I've seen it in one of the livestream orientations ETI did recently but mine is the old style mounted on the outside of the bench wall.

So it looks like the new style has a removable red key that has to be inserted and turned to restore power.

Has anyone replaced the old toggle switch with this new one? Escape was gracious enough to send me the new one since our trailer was built during the changeover and didn’t get the new one. I haven’t looked closely but the cables look short and I wonder if there is enough play in them to install the new switch. It could be a project this week. John

Glad to hear the ETI upgraded the switch. Never considered the old style very suitable but that didn't matter because I replaced both with proper multi-position battery switches.

Since mine was also made in Aug. too bad I didn't know about the changeover, I'd have gotten one and used it for my solar panel disconnect.

Thanks! They did find the switch, and in fact it was turned off when they took delivery of the trailer and they just didn't know it existed.

Great news! It was a simple fix.
