When not in use I keep a bag over the tank cover, jack head and connector. Saves cleaning the white tank cover all the time and keeps the other stuff reasonable dry.
If we did that, we'd have either Wren nests or wasp hives to clean out every time we wanted to use the camper. Mother Nature can be relentless....
