Outside shower connection

Do these two ends look right? I cannot plug in the outside shower hose. Wondering if something broke (it was hard to remove last time.)

The hose fitting is similar to that on my 19. I have had a similar problem a couple of times and was able resolve it using the instructions on the pink tag in your photo. Have you tried that?

No, but I will... if I can read the tag (never noticed the tag until I took the photo, to tell the truth!)

That was it! Thanks. The odd thing is that I have used it more recently than usual- supposed to stick after disuse. But works fine now.

Yeah, silicone plumbing grease is good for stuff like this. Or LP1 silicone spray...

Help! I'm having the same problem. I can't connect it. I have no pink tag. What does the pink tag say?

It says the valve can get stuck. Take a small screwdriver and put it into the valve and tap with a hammer. (Does not need to be really small; I used a Phillips regular sized.). Then keep it lubricated to prevent it happening again.

Thanks, that worked. I had to "tap" it pretty hard.

Glad I saw this post. We had the same issue with our connections. Went back and read the pink tag and sure enough was able to fix them both. Did spray some silicone on the hose end and the connection. Now they work as they should.

I vaguely recall someone else having that problem and reading the tag- now- and need to get some silicone spray.

This happened to me twice. The first time, I fussed around with both sides of the connection to no avail. I was ready to give up and post a photo/query to this forum. While getting ready to take the photo, I noticed the pink tag. Then actually read it.

I am so happy to read this thread. I recently had a need to bath SEVEN dogs because one of them had DOG LICE! Yewwwww! But Birdie, my trailer, came to the rescue! I was able to bath them outside with warm water, putting them on my sun exposed deck to dry off. I have two outside shower options and one of the valves evidently got stuck and stopped working. Thank goodness I had two outside showers as I continued my dog bathing tasks without interruption. When I finally tried to trouble shoot the problem I somehow unstuck it by pushing really hard. Reading this thread is so helpful so I know what to do if it happens again. By the way, my wonderful trailer not only has proven her value as a way to bath multiple dogs in a timely manner, I realized that she is our home in the event that we have to evacuate in the event of a wildfire! (4 weeks ago..lightening strike=fire in dry ponderosa forest very close to my home here in Montana. Fire department brilliantly put it out quickly but I had to scramble to prepare possible evacuation with multiple animals, etc. In a second justified the expense since I haven't really had a chance to travel very much yet! Anyways thank you so much for this thread!
