Overhead Light not working
The overhead light in the middle of the ceiling isn't working. All the other fixtures are fine. Is there a fuse somewhere I should check?

Make sure the switch by the door is on, and then try the switch on the fixture itself. If that doesn't fix things, check the fuses. If that still does not do it, check the bulbs and power at the fixture.

Sorted. It was a fuse. Had a spare.

Boy, you really are giving your new trailer a good shakedown, Robert. Good to get this crap out of the way, then clear sailing forever more.

I guess that is called getting the bugs worked out of it. Did ETI send a couple of spare fuses with you? As for the new truck, can you bring your transmission fluid temperature up on the screen and if so, have you taken note? Loren

I don't know about Robert's F150, but my 2012 F150 allows that. The F150 transmission cooler thermostat open when the transmission fluid temperature reaches approximately 203 degrees on my truck. Never thought to check it when towing but the "idiot" gage on the dash has never indicated it was spiking, even going on long uphill grades.

I cannot help but wonder what shorted or caused excessive load in the fused circuit.

Finding an electrical problem in a truck or trailer can sometime drive even the pros to drinking. Years ago I had a new car that had to have the headline tore out to find a short that was draining the battery. Loren

I think it was shorting but not sure. Under the fixture one of the crimped butt connectors was "questionable" so I replaced it. Anyway, it works so I'm not sweating it.
