Overland Jeep As A Tow Vehicle?

Is anyone out there towing or know of anyone that is towing a 19' Escape with an Jeep Gladiator Overland? Just bought one and I'm thinking about a 19' trailer. Pros and Cons appreciated.

Not an Overland trim, rather a Rubicon, but you still may learn something from gsbfree with a Gladiator and a 19...

I'm in the queue for an E19, plan on towing with my Jeep Gladiator Sport S w/ Max Tow. I have used the Jeep to tow my 5000 lbs (dry) Jayco, 6950 (GVWR).

Son took over my old Tundra, that did a much better job on the Jayco. The Jeep did it, here in the flat lands of Texas. I will admit, I was a bit white knuckled, would not want to go any kind of distance, local campgrounds only (e.g. light load). Note, I've always used a WDH w/ sway (Equalizer).

Swapping out the Jayco for an E19, that was in the books before giving up my Tundra. Use to have a 17' Casita. We were so much more nimble in the Casita, we went everywhere in that thing....
