Power Awning Not Working

Hi there!
We have a 2020 19' and our Dometic 9100e power awning has never given us any problems, until now. It is closed but it won't open or budge at all. The power switch is on and gives the loud beep when switched on, the receiver lights up blue but when I click the remote to open, the receiver clicks and the lights switch to purple while I hold the open button. I've replaced the battery in the remote, reprogramed the receiver and paired the remote and still nothing. The LED light strip responds to the remote fine. I'm just at a loss. Could this be a sign of the motor failing? Anyone have a similar experience? Any help is appreciated!

Sorry to hear! And, not able to provide a solution. Just relate our experience with this manufacturer. We have 2020 - 21NE. DOMETIC 9500E awning motor failed at one year mark. As second owner no guarantee coverage.
This occurred mid-Covid, so took whole year to get replacement motor (first new replacement motor was defective and was sent back.) Only used replacement unit once. I am afraid it’s going to break again, and at $1,600 total replacement cost I use sparingly.
In my opinion, manual is way to go.

Sorry no further solutions as well but a reminder to everyone to record the info/numbers for the awning while it is still working. You can only get to that info on the tube once the awning is open. Of course if you could get to the numbers you probably would not need servicing.
