Propane furnace and ac fan are both running

It was time to try our propane furnace with our new to us 5.0. I set the dometic thermostat on furnace with low fan. To my surprise both the furnace and the AC fan started running. I was expecting only the propane furnace to be running. Is this normal? I did not hear the compressor come on, just a lot of air blowing which was room temperature. The furnace was blowing nice warm air. When I changed the thermostat to auto mode from low fan mode the AC fan stopped blowing and the furnace was still blowing hot air and it cut off when the desired temperature was reached. I do not understand why in furnace mode with low fan the AC blower turns on. It creates a lot of air and noise. I do have the heat strip mode and that worked properly. Hopefully someone can confirm that in low fan setting and furnace mode setting both the AC blower and furnace blower run at the same time. If this is not normal is there a hidden setting I am missing to change the operation?

The fan has to be set to Auto or they will both run. It’s a quirk with the Dometic controls.
