I’m thinking that’s the size but honestly I took mine off and took it with me to a small local
RV dealer and repair shop and put it on the counter and said “I need one of these”. I bought a regulator and two pigtails at the same time. Of course I never study the invoice till I get home and though it was a little more than it should have been. That’s when I discovered he charged me for two pigtails and two supply hoses and the regulator. So I had to go back and get the bill corrected and my credit card amended. He was embarrassed to say the least. The Marshal regulator probably has a spec for the hose connection but I’m not sure about the hard gas tubing end. Somebody will know especially if they have recently changed theirs. Good to hear from you. Had some very good peaches this summer, wish they had been in your Dutch oven cobbler.

Hi Dave,
We are sorry that we could not attend the rally this year. We hope to make it next year to see you and Rita. Will definitely cook the peach cobbler.

I received my new regulator yesterday and on removing the cap to see how it was adjusted I saw only two tiny indentations in either side of the opening. It looks as if a screwdriver will fit there. Is that the way it is adjusted?

PB: I don't know exactly what regulator you purchased but the ones I have adjusted have a little disc that can be turned underneath the black cap I point to in the photo. Clockwise to increase pressure, counter-clockwise to decrease pressure. It sounds like you are on the right track.

Have been camping above 9K' for a week and last Spring put the old OEM Faraday regulator(changed to Marshall at year 2) on when fridge was totally not working on propane. After cleaning orifice and adding a 12V dual fan like Jon V. the fridge is at 37 degrees when parked on #4 setting. Have to turn fan off at night or it gets too cold. Best fridge performance ever. Seems the inside fan is really making the difference and not over stuffing.

Can anyone recommend a manometer or how to evaluate those available?

they are actually trivial to make, you just need a board and some clear vinyl hose, and some colored water...

OK, thanks for the information on making one. The missing piece of information for me is how to connect the vinyl tubing to the fitting on the refrigerator.

The one I purchased is currently unavailable. There was nothing special about this one. Automatic shut off and look at the reviews. Seems about $35. Quite easy to use.

We have the Yellow Jacket. It was given to me by the previous owner of our trailer. It works well. I take it to rallies when I go and it has been used numerous times with good results.

You can attach the manometer to just about anywhere in your low pressure propane system, doesn't have to be connected to the fridge. stoves are often easier... take the stove top off, remove a burner including its air tube, then press a suitable size vinyl hose over the now exposed gas jet and turn on that burner.

You just need a standard barbed gas fitting adaptor like this

Here is the fitting with some hose:

John: As I pointed out in post 21 this is not going to work measuring at stove in the Escape because the older Atwood DV20/DV30 and newer Suburban SDS2 stoves they use have their own regulator.

OK, I got a manometer and I see the barb provided to connect to the propane system. I opened the access door for the refrigerator and thought I would see somewhere to plug in the manometer but it all looks like hard connections. Where do I plug in the manometer to make the measurement?

As posted earlier in this thread, there should be a port on the regulator to connect for this purpose. I've never tried to connect directly to the fridge, but have successfully adjusted via measuring at the regulator.
