Quick question re fridge

4 cubic foot 17b fridge, no separate freezer. Cold outside. How do I get the freezer part to freeze if the fridge is already cold due to ambient temp? (I turned the heat on to see if that helps.)

I used to turn on the heat in the trailer and open the fridge door for a bit. Got to get the fridges probe to get warm enough for the cooling to go on.

That seems to be working- I put the heat on and it is down to 25 from 50 in about 30 minutes on AC. Giving it a few more before I pack ice cream bars, though I'll leave it on while I drive.
