We actually use the range hood in our trailer, however, the lamp in the hood is awful. The lamp socket is rated for 10 watts maximum, so for an incandescent bulb, it is about 2x of a night lamp. Has anyone exchanged the incandescent bulb with a LED lamp?
Simple answer to that is yes. Ordered mine from Amazon, they come in several different lumen and go for about $1/piece when purchased by the dozen which is what I did.

I was searching just to ask if the part number for the replacement bulb for Heng's range hood model number R0423500C is actually JRP1006B -- as it is priced INCREDIBLY HIGH at as much as $19 each - which is insane as ours blew out after a few months of usage. So I didn't buy a replacement. And now even those bulbs are out of stock most places. If these bulbs work instead -- it is a huge money saver in addition to better light so I thank you. Should I know anything more about this? UPDATE: the amazon link bulbs don't look the same -- could some kind person give us a definitive part number for a bulb that will work? I stopped at many auto shops and hardware stores in various parts of the US and at home. Now trying to order on line.
