Range Hood Replacement Bulb.
I have a 2017 19. Where can I purchase a replacement bulb for my stove hood vent. Can I go to a LED version. The bulb burned out in a very short time. Any info would be deeply appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, you can replace the bulb with an LED. Very common thing to do among Escape owners. It's a mini wedge bulb, so just find the mini wedge you like of similar size to the original bulb. Here's a link to several at Superbrightleds.com.

My range hood light burned out as well, and I guarantee it didn't have three hours' use on it. Vibration must kill them.

I've ordered numerous items from SuperBrights, and they are a top-notch company, with an extensive inventory. Highly recommended.

Day 15 with Wild Thing and the bulb is burned out. I have no manual for the hood. Does the bulb screw out or pull out?

We have a 19 and ours burned out right away. I replaced it with an LED which is working great. In the 19 the bulb pulls out. It takes a little gentle wiggling to get it out and the new one in. Once you try to remove it you'll have the hang of it.

Perfect, thanks, I got it out. What size and brightness are you using? The link given below to SuperBrightleds.com has to choose from. I don't know what the original lumens were but the light was pretty dim and I'd like something a bit brighter for sure. Thanks in Advance.

Not sure what the lumens are in the one we used. I did buy a couple different ones. We tried the amber and warm white which we thought were a little too dim. I think (but not 100% positive) we ended up with the Natural 4100K. Even that is still a little dim but we use it more at night for a dim light. You might want to try the Cool 6500K which looks like it might be the brightest. We figured for $4.95 each we could buy a couple to try. Good luck.

Thank you McDonner. I'll probably do the same, try several to see which one I like. Your suggestions give me a starting point!

There was a previous thread about replacing the hood light here: http://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f8...rade-9407.html
I just did this last week and wow, what a difference. Thanks "tdf-texas"!
I can now see what I'm burning... I mean cooking.

Hmm, must have gotten a good one, mine's still going strong after 6 months on the road. Maybe it's because I use the light over the sink most times, much brighter. But thanks for the link to LEDs, I would like to get a somewhat brighter bulb in there.

Well, it wasn't just for a better light, but you get the idea.

After seeing (and hearing, or not hearing!) the one in PatandLinda's trailer, it's on my list of eventual upgrades to the trailer. For now the stick on light was cheaper.

Yeah, well, just invested in a new set of Magma pans to replace the ones I originally got that weren't working out very well. Vent fan replacements are gonna wait a while.

I have a set of 10 year old Magma, love them. What happened to your set that did not work for you?
