Thanks for the offer Greg! I rolled past you on my way to the Arizona Casino parking lot! Maybe next week as I head north again to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend!

Has anyone had a problem of mice getting into their Escape trailer? Friend of mine has had terrible trouble of the pests getting into his motor home here in the "woods".

Meh thinks it's best to be proactive than reactive! Get some Fresh Cab or whatever your choice product is....BEFORE they get in!
Cleaning up mouse pee and poop is not a desired activity. Especially in the woods...hantavirus.

Those wire fox terriers are efficient. My mother-in law's dog is staying with us and this winter a squirrel came around a tree and ran into the dog. It was over in a minute for the squirrel. Loren

Reminds me when we had a Jack Russell . He made a flying leap in the air and caught a squirrel mid air . Was very impressive . Pat

Unlike my old conventional trailer, there is no where for mice to get in if you close all the hatches and such. I believe they need an opening the size of a dime to get in, I looked around underneath and there is no such opening on mine.

I helped our IT department remove a mouse from a computer diskette drive a few years back and that slot was even narrower than a pencil. The little guy put up quite a fight as we pulled him out by his tail! These critters can squeeze through incredibly small openings.

Wait till the Moodyville demolitions are in full swing. All those old WW2 houses and probably a huge number of critters go looking for new digs.

He was probably trying to get some bugs out. I like traps. If I didn't have a dog or cat or any people around, I'd go with poison but it's too brutal around pets. Fly bait is extremely risky, especially when combined with strawberry soda. It is illegal in some states. People have poisoned dogs and kids trying to protect sweet corn from raccoons. We use mothballs and glue boards. Traps around the garage doors. If you use traps outside wire them off to a brick. Bait with peanut butter or Snickers bar. You can get steel wool that is stainless or spun copper to plug holes. We use painters masking tape to seal up for winter. Keeps Bugs out too. Make sure you seal the hole where propane line goes into the body. Get a creeper and lay on your back. Don't roll over your hair. Not a problem for me. Wildlife control Services or products. com is a good guy. Can't remember which it is.

That's good to hear. I also crawled under my 21 and couldn't find any penetrations that weren't sealed well with foam. I'm hopeful that I won't have any problems.
I live in the woods and if I don't use one of the rodent repelling noisemakers under the hood of my vehicles which are parked outside I will get mice and woodrats moving in. Rather a pain but much better than damage. I've had no issues since deploying these over the last couple of years. My neighbor had sever damage to their Prius with multiple rat holes throughout the car. I actually had a mouse and a rat hitchhike for up to three hours under the hood before managing to climb up onto the windshield looking for way down. It's a bit distracting to say the least.
