Replace Gate Valve "T" Handle

Somehow, one the ears on the gate valve has been broken off. Does anyone know if these are replaceable? Is it threaded on or press-fitted? I couldn't get it to budge. If not repairable, a pair of pliers will suffice I suppose. Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes, they just screw in/out. You may find it easier to just replace the whole piece. Four screws and <$20

One of the ear handles broke off on the black water tank on Ten Forward. It's still easy to pull/push. I'm going to continue to use it as-is until the other side breaks!

I had no trouble with the handles on either rank until I drove a chewed up section of road in Minnesota in the fall of 2014 on the way back from the Buffalo Roundup at Custer St Park. Broke one t off the black and both off the grey in 45 miles. Went to my local RV store bought both handles for 3.99 each plus tax. Mine were threaded on and I took them off with my buddy vise grip Petersen. No additional problems since over 10 thousand miles.

From a recent previous discussion, it seems that some people assume that the handles for the black waste tank and the grey waste tank will look different. If you already have this distinction, or want to take this opportunity to create it, you might want to pay attention to the size, colour, or labeling on the replacement handle.

Or, one could also label both the handle AND the fitting/area from which it protrudes.

My memory isn't that bad yet.
Small pipe, water.
Big pipe, waste.
