Wanting to replace the dometic thermostat. What model or brand has anyone gone to.

It depends on which one you have. If it is for the furnace only, almost any battery powered thermostat will work, but if it handles both the AC & furnace, your choices are limited. If visibility or touch panel pushing is the problem, Dometic does make a version that can be Bluetoothed to your phone: Bluetooth Replacement, as well as a control center that might be a bit more difficult to install. Dometic Control Center. No idea if it would work with the single zone combined furnace & AC that Escape uses in their newer trailers.

I purchased this digital Honeywell. I don't have air, just need to control the furnace, so I followed the wiring diagram for the unit in that situation. I like it because the display will light up and it doesn't make that "S P R O I N G" noise when it turns on or off.

I’ve talked to Honeywell and was told this one has to have four wires to be able to handle both AC and Heat. Would be nice if this one would work.

For those interested in the Bluetooth Dometic thermostat, I just received notice from Camper ID that it has been discontinued.

It’s a darned shame that this Bluetooth thermostat has been discontinued. Amazon also shows it unavailable.

This is one of my favorite mods that gets used every day.
