Replacing Glass Microwave Tray in 17B

I recently broke the tray in my RCA RMW712 oven. When I googled the replacement I found a single source for $66, more than the price of the oven. Fortunately they were out of stock, saving me that decision.
So I started searching by description, 9 1/2" diameter. Lots available in the circle platform style, but I finally found one in the three radial arm platform style required for the RCA oven.

And for only $16. It arrived yesterday and fits just fine.

Problem solved.

Another solution is to just use a paper plate directly on the turntable. We still have our glass tray but I never bother getting it out. Then I don’t have to worry about remembering to remove it before travel.

We broke ours on the 2010 19’ microwave. Called Tammy and she gave us an address and phone number. The microwave was “obsolete but they had a plate. $7 for the plate $6 to ship it to us. Best deal ever. Looked at Sally Anne’s for several months with no joy. Lots of plates , never the right one.
