Replacing the outside range hood vent louver

The flap (outside cover) on our range hood vent broke off, so I need to replace the entire louver.

I'm trying to find a replacement unit with the same collar depth (3/4" measured from fibreglass trailer shell to end of collar; or 1 3/8" from outside fibreglass shell to metal of stove vent). Available units have a 1 3/4" collar depth. I could cut down (remove 0.75 - 0.375 = 0.375"), but that would be a PITA.

Has anyone else had direct experience with replacing this vent, or direct knowledge of the replacement part make and model? (Sorry to emphasize direct, but I know the problem that I need to solve )

Alternatively, anyone with an easy way to trim 3/8" off the collar. A vent in hand is worth two that are out of stock at the vendor.

This is a 2017 Escape 19'.

Hi: FlatlandFlyFisher... I bought like kind and cut to leave the 3/4". I used a hacksaw to cut the plastic, While able I replaced the little toggles with aluminum screen tabs and S/S bolts and nyloc nuts. I painted it with Krylon Dover White plastic paint too. Alf

Whats the best way to remove the sealant under vent perimeter ? Scrape it with flat blade? Pry it carefully up?

Heat gun to soften the Proflex (it is used a lot by ETI) then nylon or plastic spatula to scrape. Finish carefully with acetone and a then a rag with Dawn dish soap.
