Nice! I'll keep my eyes open for a suitable gate.

PatAndLinda:

That looks awesome. Nice job. I will have to scour some garage sales and craigslist.

Pat, we had so many of these pet gates and so many versions with all of our pets that I couldn't even tell you how many! Yep, they can be very useful.

Yes, the problem I have had from the beginning is walking into the screen myself. Bought floss for it but never did put it. Another one of those things on the list to do. . Like the anchors.

Has anyone figured out a solution to making the screen more visible while still allowing it to be useable? We full-time so we don't have the storage capacity for a baby gate, nor do we want to be futzing with a baby gate every time we go in and out of the camper.

Ideally I'd love something that could be attached to the screen that can still fit in with the screen when it retracts, but I feel like I'm hoping for something that doesn't exist.
that's cute.
can you paint the screen a bright color?

Yes, saw the smoke and heard the explosions of gas tanks at 6 am yesterday. Half a mile from me as the crow flies. Yeah, I'd be worried about leaving home or sleeping if an arsonist was known to be on the loose around here.
