Great Share

Thanks for sharing this- especially the part about the width.

Mine is a 2014, and it too will need replacing.

You are welcome. We'd love to spare others from buying the wrong width.

Get a load of the awful shape our original was in. We deserve a prize, I think.Click image for larger version

Update on our awning from Tough Top--

Tough Top gave us great customer service. The second version of the replacement awning arrived quickly and has been installed. It is looking great.

Be aware, however, that as of today, their website still says customers do not need to measure their roll-out depth. If you have an Escape trailer, a standard 91" will not be the correct depth and you definitely need to measure and discuss this with them before ordering.

The original awnings on older 19's were advertised as 7' extension (84"). Maybe this actually includes the part that hangs down in front which would make your 72 inch dimension make sense. Escape did have custom awnings made for their trailers by Carefree. Maybe because I also included the original serial number of the awning it was made correctly.
