RMD 8555 fridge will not come on

Went to hook up my 21' this morning in prep for the 1st camping weekend this season.Hooked it up to AC at storage facility to charge up battery and start the fridge to allow it to cool down before leaving tomorrow morning. Lights, microwave all working inside camper. Opened fridge door to turn it on. Held power switch in approx. 5 seconds but nothing happened. No beeps, no lights, nothing. No lights on LED panel or inside the fridge. Checked converter for thrown breaker or blown fuse. Nothing. Went outside to check to see if the plug was still in the AC outlet; it was. Got a small fan and plugged it in the AC outlet; it worked. Pulled the amber color fuse located beside the drip tube to see if it was blown; it appeared to be OK.I didn't see any other fuses to try. Does anyone have any suggestions that I might try? It worked great my last camping trip in November before I winterized it. Haven't had it on since then. I've charged the battery once a month since then. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is it possible you did not wait the 2 minutes before the EMS to kick in?

If a small fan was plugged into the refrigerator outlet and it worked, then the EMS had finished its 2 minute test already, so that could not be the problem.

Refrigerator needs 12v to operated. Check to see that you have 12v to refrigerator itself. If it is not getting power, recheck all fuses. If it is getting power, it would most likely be the control board.

Took a pic of outside fuse. Didn't see any loose wires, but might have missed one. Does everything look OK from this pic?

Thanks Carl. Is there any other fuses other than this amber one in the pic and the one in the converter inside? I'm at a loss when electrical things happen. How would I check to see if 12v is present at fridge? Sorry to be so dumb.

Just a thought, is the battery disconnect switch turned on?
Also you mentioned charging the battery if it was dead the fridge won't work.

Cheers

Yes it is. Just plugged in to AC to allow fridge to run over 24 hrs w/o running battery down. Thanks.

You must have 12 vdc for all modes. I'd verify the battery is up over 12v and the breakers are all on. After that I'd check for 12v at the terminal block you show.

That looks like a fuse in your picture, might pull it and check it with a meter.

Thanks for the reply Padlin. It is a fuse and I did pull it and it was not blown.

As Padlin suggested remove the fuse and check for 12V at the fuse holder to determine if voltage is being supplied to the refer circuit.

You should also check the 12V fuses in the breaker/fuse box too.

With all that has been checked, it is sounding more and more like the control board.

If an electrical appliance does not work check the voltage at the point of usage. If voltage is not present, track the circuit back to the source, such as the distribution panel and fuses. Considering the numerous electrical problems I have had with a 2013 Escape 19, would recommend the purchase of a simple digital volt ohm meter and a 16' length of 14 gauge wire with an alligator clip on each (jumper) to provide a connection to ground or battery positive for testing remote 12V circuits where either ground or BATT positive are not readily accessible.

We still do not know if battery positive voltage and ground are being supplied to the refrigerator. A visual inspection is not the best way to check the continuity of a 12V fuse (most probably made in china). Before replacing the control board, confirm that positive voltage and ground are being supplied to the refer.
Guessing, speculation and assumptions do not solve electrical problems(Ouija board diagnostics) !

Thanks Jubal and all others for your responses; however, I have checked everything I know how to check. I do not have a multi-meter or know how to use one. That would definitely be beyond my scope of knowledge and comfort zone. So, that being said, most likely I will take the camper to a repair facility tomorrow. Thanks again for all responses
