Screen Door repair?
Has anyone had to repair their screen door? The bottom left corner screen material has pulled out of the frame. We are hoping there is a relatively easy repair for this. Thanks, Celia and Jerry

This does happen. You can simply tuck it back in to the black tabs. It's not permanently attached to them. Once you've tucked it back in, operate the door a few times and it will smooth it out.

We have used that "repair" trick before...and wish that was the answer this time. The actual screen fabric has torn free from the side frame:-( Talked to ETI this afternoon - it will take an entire new cartridge and that will have to be installed into the housing. Our only other option is to buy a whole new screen door. We're debating which option to try...

Oh, I see - It's separated from the side. Yep, the only option there is to replace the screen cartridge. If it was a choice between replacing the entire assembly or just the cartridge, I'd go with the cartridge and save some bucks.

The product page mentions that mesh replacement cartridges are available, but there's no link to them.

I'd use the contact us form: https://ssl.seikiscreensystems.com/contacts/index.php

Found it. Looks like they're $50 plus $15 ship. May be coming from Japan.
SEIKI SCREEN SYSTEMS | Replacement Parts
Not sure if it's the left or right as I don't know if they mean looking from the outside or the inside.
Here is the link into their general shopping area, which you can't seem to find on their website.

Seiki sent me a shopping site to check out...and the replacement screen cartridge is listed at $32 with the shipping costs. There also was a tiny note on the site that it was only for Canadian shipping

Here is the address: SEIKI SCREEN SYSTEMS | Replacement Parts
I think the price differences may be related to the size...they come in two sizes.

Now you know how we Canadians feel when so often we see "Shipping to US only"

I broke the door catch (trailer frame side), 18 months 2 years ago.
The Company never responded to my email.
I made a replacement from a small piece of aluminium.

It won't look as nice, but could you "sew" the tear and attach it to the other end?

I did contact Seiki via email. The product used by Escape is/was a Vista Plus Screen for left hinged doors. While the site showed "*This service is only available for customers in Canada", they accepted my Paypal payment in US funds for the same amount listed on the website. We will see if the parts arrive...

I finally got return emails from Seiki and our replacement mesh cartridge IS on the way to us here in WA state:-) They apologized for the confusion...we are happy campers today! FedEx is the shipping company and it should be on its way to us by next week.

Probably would be a good idea to have one of these in the garage, cause I heard somewhere they may not be around long. Certainly was challenging enough to find the one to buy.
