Spring loaded strut for cabinet door

When we originally bought our Escape the door above the fridge kept coming loose. Escape failed to put a backer board behind the thin paneling and the hinges were only attached to the paneling. Dave at Escape told us to remove one of the spring loaded struts from the door (there were 2) and our problem would be solved. It was not. We eventually put a hole in the cabinet and discovered the lack of a backer piece for the screws. The hinges now are firmly attached, the door never comes loose. Our single strut is no longer holding the door up. Where can we buy a pair of replacement struts?

Not sure if this helps or not but some owners have made short marine hatch holders work…

These are the struts used in our 2019, not sure if they are the same for 2018. And you should check the length, they come in different lengths.
