Starlink Roof Mounting Options

Has anyone used one of the Starlink Star Mounts in either of these locations on the roof of their 21c? Would use suction cup mounts. Wonder if the AC shroud would be too much of an obstruction for good coverage? https://star-mountsystems.com/produc...48542070964540

A Starlink antenna held on the roof by suction cups at freeway speeds? Terrifying thought. Or would it be removed for travel?

Havent decided on whether to leave it or not. I could tether it if needed I guess. The suction cups are rated for 120 pounds of pull strength. One on each corner would hold it pretty well, methinks. https://www.seasucker.com/collection...-housing-black

I wouldn't depend on anything other than through bolts to hold anything to the roof. Scary thought that something flies off and goes through the windshield of a following vehicle.

Yeah, like I said above, I would tether it if I left it on...

F1 cars have wheel tethers. Sometimes the wheel stays attached to the car, sometime not.

If it was needed at freeway speeds the results would be pretty ugly.
