Stone? For Weber Baby Q BBQ

I am thinking of getting some kind of stone or something to help with cooking in my little Weber BBQ.
What should I be looking for?
Would a round pizza stone from Walmart or something like that work?
I use Pampered Chef stones often at home, but they are pretty pricey to take camping and risk breaking...

Any oven stone will work. If too large you can cut it with a tile or masonry blade quite easily.

I have bought a 1/2" thick travertine tile quite cheap and cut it so there was about 1" around all edges.

Using some kinda stone like this allows for the BBQ to be used like an oven. We have done mac & cheese, cookies, squares, lasagne, meat loaf and other things.

Hi: amirie... If it wasn't for Covid19... I'd be there along with you. If you take enough garlic... social distancing will be a lot easier.
At the moment I'm trying to get "Escape Hatch II" ship shape!!! Not knowing when or if is HARD. Alf
