Lightbulb Stove Exhaust hood light bulb

The bulb on our 2019 Escape 21 stove hood exhaust fan/light burns out quickly. It is Heng's Jensen Exhaust Fan Light Bulb, JRP1007B 12V LED. This bulb is difficult to find (I did locate one bulb on ebay several months ago but not now) in addition, the bulb burns out quickly, and has less than a 1-year life span. Can anyone suggest either where to purchase a replacement bulb of the same--or better yet--a DIFFERENT bulb (maybe one that emits a brighter light) that has a compatible base to fit the spot where this bulb plugs in to the hood?

The lamp in the hood light is a T10 wedge bulb. In my thread, I used a White 5050 48-SMD LED Panel - an Amazon search finds lots of them.

I stuck the LED panel on the surface of the hood after cleaning the oil/grease off with acetone using two sided tape. The panels come with a T10 adapter that plugs into the existing socket.

I changed the original bulb five years ago and it's still working.

ps. Don't attach with aluminum tape like one of the posters did in my thread - it shorts out the LED panels.

Yes, any wedge type bulb should work but why are they burning out? LED bulbs are long lived....

Easy fix

I couldn’t find a bulb when mine quit working. So while drinking a cold beer. This is when I do my best thinking. A light bulb came on in my noggin. Can I use a bulb from one of the multitude of LED lights already in my camper. I took out a bulb from a fixture I seldom use and put it into the stove hood, tada it worked. The bulb is a different size and I had to pull down on the metal flange but I got it to work, and it’s a whole lot brighter.
