Suggestions for organizing pickup bed

I just bought a truck cap for my Tundra tow vehicle. Had a tonneau cover before. Anyone have any good ideas for a plan on storage organizers? I typically carry a Clam, chairs, cooler, portable bbq, propane firepit and a couple milk crates. Thanks

I thought about buying one of those slider bed things but couldn't justify spending that much so I made something myself.

Is that just a box that slides out or is the some sort of roller mechanism? Looks good!

No specific suggestions but I'd start the planning process by developing a list of "things useful to access when the trailer is hitched".

Have Fun!

Slides on carpeted pads attached to the box.

It works great for chairs, hiking poles, and expensive things you may not want visible to the public eye. Milk crates go just to the left in a row. Generator (when needed) goes in the far left corner, cable locked to the truck's load attachment thingie. Totes go on top.

YES! Very important point. Box will only slide out a little bit while hooked up to trailer. Your truck/hitch particulars may vary. Jack-E-Up is one solution.

I have a bedslide in the Tundra. It makes the truck bed so useable! I think we bought it used. We used to have a Casita and one of the guys on that forum had a formula for exactly what went where in what tote when packing the truck bed for camping. I used that as my template and loaded totes with least used things all the way toward the cab. I could use the storage on top of the totes for chairs. I also have the small generator in there locked up as well.

Because I spend a lot of time on the road & not unhooking the trailer unless I'm staying more than a night or two, I'd have a problem with slides, drawers, etc. I have a rigid tri fold cover & a extremely useful 6' aluminum pole with a 6" long piece of flat 90° to the end. Like this, but mine is not adjustable.

I store everything in either bags or plastic storage boxes, any use the "hook" to dig things out. Not as organized as the previous solutions, but very flexible & it works for me.
