Looks like our Highlanders may be included, Iowa Dave. Notifications coming mid-March. I'm going to check in w my local dealer to see if they know more.

I had a TSB on the lift gate on our 2012 Highlander. Took it in, got a brand new (258 miles) Camry for a loaner, drove it all over for three days, went back and got the Highlander. No further problems. No charge. Did not even have to fill the loaner with gasoline. Toyota has been good to me. I’ll give my service guy a call or stop in. There’s a very good sporting goods and camping store just down the street and a nice auto parts store with a lot of tools nearby too. Time will tell.

To check if your vehicle is part of this or any other recall, go to this National Highway Safety Administration link:

https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls

You will need your VIN to plug into their database.

Our 2018 Camry was not listed, likely because it is a hybrid. My Tundra is too old, 2017.

My vin is not listed, and there is a note that recent recall vins may not yet have been added...so I'll check back in a week or two.

Thanks for that link.
