This is the permanent fix for the creaky floor syndrome.
https://www.escapeforum.org/forums/f...tml#post349195
The problem is not the floor but the poorly assembled bed frame causing the creaking noise as it shifts with movement. A redo using a good wood glue and supports that tie the frame rails together give the bed framing the rigidity it needs to stop the "creaking".
Here is the temporary fix Escape suggested for the same.

We had the same issue on both our 21s. Called Escape and was told to wrap the edges on the storage lid under the mattress with Duct tape., as the edges rub against the frame of the bed. We thought it was the floor squeaking!!
Problem was solved!!

As per Tammy we just rubbed a wax candle on the bed frame and almost 5 years later have not had it squeak again!

Strange squeaks seem desirable with Halloween coming up... Add some moaning and the occasional shriek, and you should be set for the trick-or-treaters.

Our brand new floor squeaked. Have had the new 21C trailer 5 days. Today I removed the plywood bed underlayment which was jammed tightly together. After removal my wife said the floor is not what was creaking, it’s the bed plywood rubbing together at the over tight joints. Anyway I removed all the bed supports and replaced the framing so that it properly supports the plywood. I also ran the plywood across the jointer and removed about a 1/32” off each of the long center joints. Still working on it will finish it up tomorrow. Bed framing now supports Itself and does not require plywood to hold itself up.
Want to fix your floor creaking, remove the plywood and trim thecenter edge to a leave a non rubbing joint. Remove the driver side plywood and you will clearly see why I replaced the framing.
Thanks to tdf-Tx or I would have never found the problem.

A little split wire loom on the wiring will prevent snagging it when pulling stuff out through the outside hatch. Since you have it already open, a good thing to do.

Yep count on it. Also partitioning it off. My wife doesn’t want some sneaky tiny guy coming in through the outside hatch to the interior.

Bed framing repaired. Day 6 of 21c ownership. Complete overhall done. Framing supports plywood, not the other way around. Squeaks all gone. Had to plane a lot, off the existing plywood to allow room to not touch each other. Also reframed to allow top access to water heater without removing entire driver side plywood. Able to use just half amount of deck screws. There is now a partition wall separating large under area.

new focus
This spanking, brand new rig has given you some swell messing about projects. Get it to where you like it, but DO use it soon.... to learn your other needed tweaks to do.

Oh yeah. Hopefully next month for some weekend close excursions.
Say how many pontoon holes are drilled in the outer perimeter hull approximately?
