Turn it off!
Here's a first. We're unpacking from a roadtrip and I cant shut off the refrig!
Push the power button, comes back on. Hold it down, tap it, same result.

What happens if you turn off the battery power then turn it back on?
If the fridge comes back on and still won't turn off I'd disconnect the power at the rear of the fridge until someone has the answer.

I tried the battery disconnect for a minute. No luck. Door was left open for a while while we unpacked and refrig was left on. Im figuring it maybe went into survival mode so Im going to cool it back down to normal and try shutting it off. That fails, Ill unplug.

Poltergeist, perhaps? Try burning a black candle inside the fridge to drive it away....
(On a ore serious note, very strange, I'm curious to learn your eventual solution.)

Greg we have the same fridge and sometimes I can't get it to change from propane to electric or vice versa without a few attempts. Never had the problem you've got and I must admit I chuckled watching your video on FB, but know it's not funny. Hope the one of the suggestions you got there has worked.

I tried the black candle trick, used some swear words, then turned it over to the brains in the family. Ann got it to turn off. Neither of us have any clue what she did, just pushed the power button and like magic, it shut off!
Lets hope it comes back on before our next roadtrip but for now, we're good.

Hi: Greggo... Even though it's ill eagle for a Canadian to carry "Garlic" into the US., I'd risk it if it keeps the Fridge Gremlins at bay!!! Alf
