The most important factor is determined by the strength available at a particular location.
If the wall is reinforced than it's pretty much a blank canvas.
If the wall isn't reinforced then you want to mount the bracket close to the edge so that the screws, or preferably bolts, go through the solid frame at the edges.
If the TV mount is bolted through the frame it's very strong and, in our case, the TV stayed in place without any problems while travelling thousands of miles on rough roads.

We mounted our TV on the end of the bulkhead wall at the foot of the bed on the passenger side. There is a pretty solid piece of wood inside the end of the wall on the edge that holds the long bracket mounting screws very securely. The mounting arm folds back out of the way for stowage, and when extended the TV can be rotated to either face the bed or the dining room. We have a 22" TV.
We got this mounting arm: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. It locks in place when folded back against the wall, has a little chain you pull down on to unlock it and swing the arm out.

If the wall supports are not optimal for your TV installation.(TV sticks too far into the isle way.) You can span the wall with an oak board and attach it to the wall supports. That way you can place the mount where you like on the board. In my case the TV does not extend beyond the bulkhead when stowed or it can be swung to be viewed from the other end of the trailer or from outside through the doorway. (E-21)

I put one connection and base for the mount in the loft passenger side, and another in the dinette front driver's side.
We one use TV one night in 2 1/2 years, and that was the dinette one, which when we use it again week likely be the most used being much more convenient.

Our TV sits in the loft of our condo, so we have no added weight to the camper. We talk, read, ?, or sleep when it gets dark.
Enjoy,
Perry
