Updated blinds in our 2006 17b

We've just purchased a used 2006 17b and it came with the new blinds, and we looked at installing them today, but we weren't sure how to attach them to the bottom so that they don't dangle. They did come with these metal black triangle brackets but we're weary of putting additional holes in the window frame.
We were wondering if anyone has pictures of the updated blind instilation and maybe some advice for us?
Thanks!

Maybe others can give advice on the installation but here is a close-up of the finished product...

Edited: I just noticed from your interior picture on another thread that the blinds you have are Levolor-type blinds which are different from the ones I have. So maybe these pictures won't help you at all.

Karen,
Thank you for the pictures...they really do help show how the cords connect to the triangle brackets. Have you been satisfied with these blinds over the older metal style? We just aren't 100% sure if we like that we can't adjust the light and privacy in the some way with the newer style honeycomb ones.

Mine is a 2008 and these are the blinds I have. They aren't metal. They are fabric and the cords are attached to posts screwed into wood blocks attached to the wall.
The blinds and mounts you have look to be newer than mine.

Mine are the pleated honeycomb shades and I am completely satisfied with them. If there is too much sun I just close them on one side; there is plenty of light coming through the other sides. And with the tinted windows, no one can see in during the day if there are no lights on inside, so privacy is not an issue with me either. But that's just me.

Hello Journey.
We had our blinds replaced on our 2005.The early style were the metal or plastic ones.Sure happy that we replaced them with the accordion ones.
Good luck and Happy Trails with your 2006 17.Good that you found one after a long search.
Allan.

Down, according to the manual. No idea why.

Thank you for all of your suggestions and opinions about these blinds...we're going to decide if we want to put additional holes in the window frames for the tie down hardwear or just be okay with the original metal blinds we presently have. Thanks again for the pictures you've all posted, they really helped us.

Karen how did you get that great shelf. ETI told me they couldn't install one. Where is that located in your trailer? I need one by the back window on the inside of the bed area.

I requested the drop-down shelf as I wanted some kind of landing for stuff just to the right side of the door as one comes into the trailer; it was blocked in during construction. Keep in mind that I have a 15A which has a different configuration than any other model. This might have something to do with Reace agreeing to install it for me.

Thanks Karen, That is exactly what I want by the bed for my glasses, phone etc. Maybe before it goes onto the line we can talk with Reace to see if he will agree to adding a small one for me.

All he can say is NO. It's already NO unless you ask. Just remember, times have changed and ETI is busy building trailers with owners out waiting months for their ETI builds. "Once Upon A Time" ETI was trying to build a reputation for custom builds... NOW that reputation has been cemented. And we know ETI has great customer service, just don't be disappointed if what ETI did in the past, isn't possible today...

I agree Donna! I'm just happy to be able to get such a quality trailer and I will figure out something if the answer is no. Thanks for responding.
