Wanted: Advice on Fabric order
With another question: I want to order my fabric for the seat/window areas. Since I am in the USA and it needs to be shipped to Escape in Canada, which have you found to be a better option? Sailrite (US) or Outdoor Fabrics (Canada). I guess I am asking US owners who have done this. Also want a Home Depot sink, again what's the best bet for ordering and having it shipped? Thanks in advance.

I used Sailrite and had it shipped directly to ETI.

Home Depot has stores in Canada. Could try ordering it online from them and have it shipped directly to ETI.

I also used Sailrite and shipped it directly to ETI. I got samples sent to my house before I placed the order.
As for the sink, if you have a specific make and model you could try Pioneer Building Supplies in Chilliwack. I ordered a custom floor thru them and ETI picked it up.

The Canada Home Depot has some sinks that are in the U.S. but does not have others. You can call their Canada number and see if they have yours and what the shipping would be.
If you use a Canada company, you should be able to save. We paid $45 shipping for 9 yards from Sailrite in the U.S.

There is also a Home Depot store in Chilliwack. Maybe Escape would be willing to pick up there as well.

And charge you for the service, I would hope.

I would be truly amazed if ETI would do this even for a service charge. A service like that could turn into a full-time position for one of their employees.

We bought our Sailrite fabric from Outdoor Fabrics CA. It was the same price per yard as US, but in CA$$. We got 32% off when Visa did the conversion on the sale, and since it was inside CA the FEDEX charges were fairly normal with no added fees for duty, etc. No issues, ordered online, shipped right away, tracked and ETI confirmed.
