These hoses don't seem to have that disclaimer and state only "For Use With Water only in Accessible Locations".
Is there a chance that ETI is using them because they are deemed suitable for both hot and cold water?
Also, I'm wondering about driver's side outdoor shower. Are they using the same hoses and are they accessible for replacement?
As a soon to be E19 owner I'm trying to keep my to-do list up to date!

Has anyone asked ETI to comment? If so, have they?
Interested in whether I need to add this to the list of items to include with the build list on my pending 21C.

Use of PVC hoses for hot water service in the US was banned long ago due to the propensity of the hoses to burst due the thermal expansion of the hoses. Escape tried using them before in 2017 21s and forced Reace to make his famous round the US trip replacing all those hoses because they were bursting.
Take a look at the pic below. Notice the white PVC hoses in the picture. They are not rated for hot water use but are connected to the hot water PEX supply.
If your trailer has these hoses connected to hot water service, you must replace them immediately! It will be a sad day to find water running out the trailer door due to a burst water hose.

From the original photo. Looks like either drops of water from a possible leak or bubbles in the hose. I did find a reference online that states nylon braided pvc is ok for hot water usage but is more likely to fail than other types.

Well, I am very grateful for the "heads up"! I'll be picking up my 21C in early July, and I'll be sure to check this.
Even if I don't have PVC hoses, if my plumbing looks as ridiculous as in the picture above, I'll probably redo it anyway just to clean it up.

Nylon braided hose can be rated for hot water service but it will also have a red stripe down the length of the tubing to designate that it is rated for hot water. Braided hoses with a blue stripe or no stripe are for use only with cold water service.
It may be that the hoses in the OP's picture have the red stripe but I didn't see it. If on inspection, you see that your hoses have the red stripe - they are rated for hot water service and should be good. As Stephen99 stated however, they do fail more often than the stainless braided hoses.

Thank you for answering the question I posed, which you characterized as "derogatory".

Here's a link to the product, based on the SKU on the label:
https://www.lasallebristol.com/produ...i-p-x-f-i-p-5/
Unfortunately, LasalleBristol is just a reseller, so no real specs or information on who the OEM was.

I would have just gone from pex, straight into a threaded tee, and attached both hoses directly to the tee.

In our 2019 trailer all the plumbing is Pex right up to the faucets, I don't think there is any white flex tubing used anywhere.

Hugh, are you able to show the fittings you would use? I assume that you would intend on getting rid of the elbows?

Last winter I had a residential tank-to hot water line go bad, it was the metal braided type. It turned that basement into a steam room. I myself don’t like to fix plumbing problems where there isn’t any yet, they will be there eventually, usually not the one you expected.
From what I can see the one advantage to the flex line Escape is using it allows for some give with all the movements a trailer goes through.

I think the white flex hose provided water to the outside showers, if optioned. No shower, no white hose.

It's possible that some worker on the assembly line used the braided nylon hose on the hot line by his own volition, without checking whether it was okay. Perhaps ETI would consider this an assembly error and cover the cost of a proper replacement.
If those who have this incorrect installation would contact ETI, at the very least it would put them on notice to look into the issue and perhaps they'd take steps to avoid the mistake on future trailers. (You'd be helping those of us who are still in the queue! )

FWIW, my 2019 21C has Pex going to braided steel to and from the sink, and then Pex to the outside shower. Quite snazzy looking, but I didn't have a camera with me when I looked. Can post a photo if you want.

My Sept ‘21 E19 has the white flex hoses only at the bath sink. Seems this is a trailer by trailer check as it appears ETI used what they had when your trailer went down the line.
