One thing I learned the hard way on our Rialta, be careful using your hose with the air conditioner roof unit. Too much water pressure blown into the vents can end up inside the trailer.

The Rialta also demonstrated why washing and waxing the roof regularly is desirable. The used one we bought had never had that done. It took me a LONG time to finally get all the black crud that was embedded into the fiberglass off and then another long time trying to get the oxidized surface back to anything approaching a shine.

Was at Canadian Tire and they had big jugs of it on sale, will try it out. And UV protector for all the other bits as usual. Took a look at the roof today and it looks like the day I dragged it out of ETI after a year.

This is my roof after a long winter and after washing 'N' waxing with the Simonize. I'm sure any wash and wax will do an adequate job.

I used to keep a Hobie Cat at Jericho and I remember well what it looked like after a winter outside. Your picture reminded me.
